As you hit fundraising milestones, you’ll earn the items below, which are cumulative – and help out Special Olympics New Jersey even more…win-win! So the more money you raise, the more remarkable items you will receive.
All registered participants
$75 – $149 – Runner’s Hat
$150 – $299 – Cross Body Sling Bag + VIP Parking Incentive
The first 75 participants who raise $150 or more will receive an exclusive VIP Parking Pass to park on the south side of the NJ Transit Parking lot at 400 Blvd. East, Weehawken.
Deadline to be eligble for a VIP Parking Pass is Friday, May 1 at 12:00 PM.
$300+ – UV Long Sleeve Shirt
Note: A participant must raise that money independently to meet a particular incentive level. For example, if there are three people on a team and between them, they raise $100, this does not meet Level 1. Person A must pay the entry fee plus raise the balance to meet the $100 incentive level. Combined entry fees for all three team members plus the balance to meet $100 do not qualify for an incentive item.
What is the minimum amount required to receive an incentive?
All runners must pay the registration fee to participate. All team members must still pay the full registration fee if running as a team. The registration fee counts towards your fundraising total. Runners will receive an event t-shirt, race bib, and complimentary refreshments with their registration.
Are the incentives for sale?
We do not sell any of our incentives because we feel it is a privilege for those who participate and have earned various incentives. If many incentives are left at the end of the race, we’ll make the items available online. We have separate souvenirs available for anyone to purchase at the race.
When do I receive my incentives?
All incentives are mailed out 4-6 weeks after the event.
